These saladitos are fleshy and a bit chewy and, not like the bone-dry ones from the other guys. Although, there is quite a bit of crusted salt on them, it can be knocked off. What's more, the price makes it an unbeatable value, unless you can get yourself to Tijuana of course. Flavor and amount of dehydrated pulp is excellent, I do however like mine fresher, by that the texture when squeezed with fingers is usually soft and spongy to the touch. The ones I recently purchased were indeed tasty, however they were a bit hard, and a bit on the "Been on the shelves " for a bit taste. I grew up in Arizona and got fresh product daily. I will pay more for a shipment of a fresher bag. I will still order regardless as I am a true Mexican Thanks

I received my wonderful saladitos. They are hard to find out here so I got two one pound bags and hubby and I are in heaven. We like to put one salted and one chili saladito in our orange. The saladitos are good size and perfectly seasoned. I will be back for more I'm sure of it!
